A full-length waterproof poncho that keeps wheelchair users dry from head to foot. The cape drapes over the upper body and legs while seated, with an integrated hood and clear peak visor so rain stays off your face without blocking your view. Universal in fit, it suits most manual and powered wheelchairs and is simple to put on alone or with help from a carer.

Key features

• Full-length waterproof cape covers upper body, lap and legs
• Integrated hood with clear peak visor for visibility in the rain
• Universal fit for most manual and powered wheelchairs
• Simple pull-on design – quick to fit and remove
• Lightweight; folds small to carry in a bag or under the seat
• Generous coverage for daily use in UK weather

Pull the poncho over your head once seated, settle the hood and peak, then spread the front panel over your knees and down past your feet. It shields clothing from rain, wind and splashes while leaving arms free to self-propel or operate a joystick. When the weather clears, shake it off and fold it away.

VAT relief

Accessories designed solely for use with a wheelchair may qualify for VAT relief when bought by, or for, a chronically sick or disabled person. Choose the VAT Relief option and complete the declaration at checkout if eligible; otherwise select the standard-rated option.

Important information

Ensure the poncho cannot catch in the wheels or controls before moving off. Wipe clean and allow to dry fully before storing.

We understand that investing in a mobility scooter is an important decision, that is why we offer flexible payment options to make it easier.

Pay in 4 Interest-Free Installments

At checkout, simply select “Clearpay” as your payment method. Clearpay allows you to spread the cost of your mobility scooter over four interest-free installments, paid every two weeks.

Here’s how it works:

1. Choose Clearpay at checkout – no lengthy forms or credit checks.

2. Pay the first installment today – this is usually 25% of your order total.

3. The remaining three payments are taken automatically from your chosen payment method every two weeks.

4. No interest or hidden fees – as long as you make your payments on time.

It’s a simple, safe, and flexible way to make your mobility scooter more affordable, helping you get the independence and comfort you deserve — without the upfront cost.

Clearpay is available to UK residents aged 18 and over. Late fees may apply for missed payments. Terms and conditions apply.

Some of our products, such as mobility scooters and daily living aids, are eligible for VAT relief under HMRC rules.

You can claim VAT relief if you are, or are buying for, a person who is chronically sick or disabled, and the goods are for personal or domestic use.

This means the person has a long-term illness or disability that substantially affects their everyday activities.

At checkout, you’ll be asked to fill in your details and confirm the declaration below to claim VAT relief:

“I confirm that I am, or I am buying for, a chronically sick or disabled person, and that the goods are for personal or domestic use.”

By agreeing to this declaration, you are confirming that you meet the conditions set out by HMRC Notice 701/7 for VAT exemption. You can read more here.
