The standard dosage is one drop applied two to four times daily as needed, or as instructed by your healthcare provider, who may suggest a different usage. No dosage change is necessary for children. Before using a new tube of Xailin Gel, ensure the safety ring on the cap is intact. Turn the cap counterclockwise to break the seal. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before use. Remove the outer cap. If you wear contact lenses, take them out. Tilt your head back and look up. Gently pull down your lower eyelid and apply one drop of Xailin Gel into the space between your eye and eyelid. Blink a few times. If you think you missed the eye, apply another drop. Wipe away any excess gel around the eyelid with a tissue. Repeat for the other eye if needed. Replace the outer cap on the container, avoiding contact with the applicator tip. Wait at least 30 minutes before using any other eye medications.
