
Dr Blen Tesfu
Dr. Blen Tesfu is a Physician, a Master of Public Health candidate, and an advocate for women’s health with extensive experience in both primary and tertiary care settings. She earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Adigrat University and later pursued a Master of Arts in Project Management at Addis Ababa University. Currently, she is working toward a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology at Adama Hospital Medical College, where she focuses on medical research and public health strategies.
Throughout her medical career, Dr. Tesfu has developed a strong interest in women’s health and reproductive medicine, along with communicable and non-communicable illnesses. Her tenure as a General Practitioner has provided her with a broad understanding of complex medical issues, complemented by a deep commitment to patient education and health advocacy. By regularly consulting peer-reviewed studies, clinical guidelines, and the latest journal articles, Dr. Tesfu ensures her practice remains firmly rooted in evidence-based medicine.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Tesfu has been actively involved in public health initiatives, reflecting her passion for health promotion and disease prevention. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications on topics such as maternal health, infectious disease management, and community health programs, helping to expand the global body of healthcare knowledge.
