Description of Ventolin Evohaler
Ventolin Evohaler for Asthma & Breathing Problems
Asthma is a condition that primarily affects the lungs and can cause a range of breathing difficulties. Asthma often occurs after exposure to a trigger, however, it can happen randomly. Triggers may include common allergies to pollen or animal dander, infections, environmental changes or from exercise.
The Ventolin Evohaler is a reliever and preventative treatment for asthma brought on by exercise or other triggers. It is a medicated mist that is inhaled through the mouth and into the lungs to control asthma symptoms like coughing, difficulty breathing and tightness in the chest. The Ventolin Evohaler is less harmful than older inhalers due to the propellant HFA 134a. This Evohaler may also taste differently from older inhalers, however, this does not affect the efficacy of the medicine.

How should I use Ventolin?
Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
A typical inhaler contains 200 doses of medicine. After you have used all 200 doses, the inhaler will feel empty. Get your prescription refilled before you run out of medicine completely.
Prime the inhaler device before first use by pumping 2 test sprays into the air, away from your face. Prime the inhaler if it has been more than 2 weeks since you last used it. To do so, release 4 sprays into the air away from your face, shaking well before each spray.
The medicine in the Ventolin HFA inhaler passes into breast milk. While it is unlikely to harm a nursing infant, talk with your doctor if you have concerns.
Ventolin Inhaler
Do not allow a young child to use Ventolin without help from an adult. The inhaler may suddenly stop delivering medication if not properly cleaned and maintained. Shake the Ventolin inhaler for at least 10 seconds before each spray. Prime the inhaler if it has been more than 2 weeks since you last used it.
Clean your inhaler once a week by removing the canister and placing the mouthpiece under warm running water for at least 30 seconds. Allow the parts to air dry before putting the inhaler back together.
