What are Buscopan Cramps Tablets?

Buscopan tablets contain hyoscine butylbromide as active ingredient. It is a prescription drug available in both tablet form and also as an injection. It is used to treat stomach, intestinal and bladder cramps. 

How does it work?

Hyoscine butybrimide causes the bladder and the stomach muscles to relax. It works not only on stomach muscles but also on the muscles of the whole digestive tract. The peristaltic movements, the characteristic wave-like movements in the bladder, intestine and stomach walls, are reduced which relieves cramps. 

Are Buscopan Tablets suitable for me?

Buscopan may be suitable for you if you have stomach cramps (even those associated with irritable bowel syndrome), bladder cramps and period pains.
