What is Ibuprofen 400mg Tablets?
Ibuprofen comes from a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (i.e. NSAIDs). NSAIDs work by inhibiting an enzyme which is a chemical that causes other chemical reactions to occur; which is called cyclooxygenase, sometimes referred to as COX. This enzyme is very important for the production of chemicals called prostaglandins and these substances have a few different roles, one of which is to cause inflammation.

Ibuprofen can be used for the conditions such as headaches, nerve pain (neuralgia), period pain, migraine, toothache and It is also effective for reducing discomfort and fever related to the colds and flu.

Ingredients
The tablet contains active ingredient, Ibuprofen 400mg. It also contains Croscarmellose Sodium, Sodium Starch Glycollate, Talc, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Alginic Acid, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Starch, Povidone,Magnesium Stearate, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Hypermellose (E464), Glycerol, Carmine (E120) and Titanium Dioxide (E171).
