What is Eloine?
Eloine is a low-dose combined contraception tablet that can be used to regulate and lessen periods while also preventing unwanted pregnancy.
Description
Eloine as a Contraception
Eloine is a combined contraceptive pill that contains low doses of the oestrogen hormones ethinylestradiol and the progestogen hormone drospirenone. It is an affordable, reliable and popular birth control pill available for people 18 years and older. Eloine has several differences compared to other contraceptive pills. As it contains a lower dose of the oestrogen hormone, the side effects are not as strong as they are on other contraceptive pills. It is also easier to take as it is taken every day for four weeks without a break.
What is Eloine and how does it work?
The hormones in the Eloine pill make the body believe that it has already ovulated and will then not ovulate again. It also increases the mucus in the lining of the womb which makes it more difficult for the sperm to reach the egg.
Eloine is not intended for use by women who have not had their first period yet, or for those who have had menopause.
