What is Paracetamol?
Paracetamol is a medication used to treat pain and symptoms of colds. This medication can be used to reduce a high temperature and usually takes up to an hour to work.
How does it work?
Paracetamol works by blocking the chemical messengers found in the brain that tell us we have pain. When used to reduce a fever, the chemical messengers in the brain that regulate body temperature are affected.
Is Paracetamol suitable for me?
Paracetamol can be taken by most people, including those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. You should take extra care and consult with a doctor if you have had an allergic reaction to this or other medications in the past, if you have liver or kidney problems, regularly drink alcohol more than the recommended amount, or if you take medicine for epilepsy, tuberculosis or are using the blood thinner warfarin.

Is it safe to take paracetamol with other pain killers?
Yes, it is safe to take paracetamol with other painkillers that don't also contain paracetamol, including ibuprofen, aspirin and codeine.
Do not take paracetamol with other medicines that contain paracetamol, e.g. cold and flu tablets that have paracetamol as an ingredient.

How is the medication delivered?

What is better ibuprofen or paracetamol?
Ibuprofen and paracetamol can be used to treat different types of pain. You can take the two pain medications together. However, paracetamol may be more effective at treating headaches, migraines and stomach aches, while ibuprofen may be better at relieving period pain, back pain and toothaches.
Can I take paracetamol for a long time?
It is safe to take paracetamol regularly for multiple years as long as you only take the recommended dose.
How do I order my medication?
