Salamol Easi Breathe Inhaler

Always use Salamol Easi-Breathe exactly as prescribed by your doctor or advised by the pharmacist. The recommended starting dose for adults to prevent asthma is two puffs, 10-15 minutes before exposure to a known trigger, however, in presence of other factors, this may be increased or decreased accordingly as per the prescriber's clinical judgement. 

For adults:

• To relieve asthma - one to two puffs as a starting dose
• To prevent asthma - two puffs 10-15 minutes before exercise or exposure to a trigger
• The maximum dose is 8 puffs in 24 hours. Wait 4 hours between doses

Instructions:

• Shake the inhaler vigorously
• Hold the inhaler upright and open it by folding the cap
• Breathe out normally as far as you comfortably can. then hold the mouthpiece between your lips, making sure that your hand is not blocking the airholes
• Breathe in steadily and deeply through the mouthpiece, don't stop breathing when the inhaler puffs the dose into your mouth
• Carry on until you have taken a deep breath
• Take the inhaler out of your mouth and hold your breath for 10 seconds, or for as long as you comfortably can
• Then breathe out slowly

Do not use your inhaler more often than the doctor told you to.

Salamol Easi-Breathe may not be safe if taken with other medication or recreational drugs. Please inform the prescriber if you are taking any of the listed medications.

DO NOT use Salamol Easi-Breathe:

• If you are allergic to salbutamol sulfate or any other ingredients in this medicine
• If you are taking xanthine derivatives or steroids to treat asthma
• If you are taking diuretics (water tablets), beta-blockers, medicines to treat chronic alcoholism or depression
