What is Epiduo Gel?
Epiduo Gel is a topical treatment for the skin condition of Acne vulgaris. It is suitable for adults, adolescents and children aged 12 and over.
How does it work?
The gel contains two active ingredients: adapalene 0.1% and benzoyl peroxide 2.5% which work to reduce the growth of the keratin surface skin cells that are responsible for blocking pores and causing acne. They also are used to kill the bacteria and increase cell turnover for clearer skin.
Is Epiduo Gel suitable for me?
Epiduo Gel can be used on the face and in other areas where there have been acne flare-ups. If you wish to reduce the redness, swelling and overall appearance of acne, ask your doctor about Epiduo Gel.
However, Epiduo may not be suitable if the following applies:

Apply to clean and dry skin. Apply thinly at bedtime to affected areas. Wash hands after use.
- DO NOT use Epiduo on areas where you have cuts or scrapes or if you have a skin condition called eczema.
- Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, or nostrils, and avoid other very sensitive areas of the body. If accidental contact does occur, immediately wash with warm water.
- Avoid exposure to sunlight and artificial UV light whilst using Epiduo

How to use Epiduo?
Always use Epiduo exactly as prescribed by your doctor or advised by the pharmacist.
Epiduo use is not recommended for children under 9 years of age.
