Description
Noriday as a Contraception
Noriday is a contraceptive pill known as a progestogen-only birth control pill, POP or mini-pill. Noriday helps to prevent pregnancy and can alleviate symptoms of menstruation. This is a 28-day birth control pill that can be over 99% successful at preventing pregnancy when taken correctly.
Progesterone-only pills are a suitable alternative for people who cannot take oestrogen such as when breastfeeding, if you smoke or if you are overweight.
What is Noriday and how does it work?
Noriday is a POP that contains the active substance norethisterone which works to prevent pregnancy by thickening the mucus in the womb, making it more difficult for sperm to travel through to the womb, changing the lining of the womb and it can also stop the release of an egg from the ovaries.
The pill contains synthetic progesterone which is a hormone produced by the body. Noriday works by altering the hormonal balance of the body to prevent ovulation.
Noriday is not intended to be used by those who are pregnant or intend to become pregnant.

Do you get a period on Noriday?
Noriday is a progestogen-only pill, which means that it doesn't contain any oestrogen. This can sometimes cause changes in your bleeding pattern. Some women stop having periods altogether, while others may have irregular or infrequent bleeding. Some women also experience breakthrough bleeding, which is bleeding that occurs in between your regular periods.
Is Noriday the mini pill?
Noriday is a progestogen-only pill, also known as the mini pill. It contains the active ingredient norethisterone, which is a synthetic form of the hormone progesterone. Progestogen-only pills work by thickening the mucus in the cervix, making it difficult for sperm to enter the womb and fertilise an egg. They also make the lining of the womb thinner, so that it's less likely to accept a fertilised egg. This means that if you do happen to ovulate while you're taking Noriday, it's unlikely that the egg will be able to implant in your womb and grow into a baby.
How do I order my medication?
Some products only require an online consultation which approximately takes 1 minute to complete, enabling you to then buy the product. Other products will also require a prescription; in this case, you will need to complete the online consultation, and then one of our partner pharmacy prescribers or doctors will review the online consultation questions and approve the order for delivery if you are eligible to purchase the item.
Can I cancel or return my order?
For non-medicinal products, you are eligible to return the product within 14 days of receipt in the same packaging you received. For medicinal products, you are eligible to cancel the order only until it has been dispatched. From that point forward, you are no longer eligible to return the order.
